Paddle Commander is a turnkey retrofit system that transforms your vessel’s existing throttle-by-wire ECU into a truly hands-on-wheel operation. Replacing your current steering wheel, our dual paddle wheels let you instantly command +500 RPM, full throttle or idle without ever removing your hands from the helm based throttle quadrant.

• Ergonomic Dual-Paddle Layout
   
  • Pull the right paddle for immediate full-throttle command if the hand throttle is already established at or above 3,000 RPM. Below 3,000 RPM, the right paddle will command 500 RPM increase for maneuverability in tight quarters, trailer loading or unloading, or docking. 
  • Left paddle for instant idle/deceleration. Not only does the left paddle give instant control over multiple high revving race engines, but it gives control over the vessel in motion. At high rates of speed in choppy water and as the vessel becomes air born, a conventional throttle requires either taking your hand off of the steering wheel to reduce power or else the high power setting causes the vessel to plant back in the water with harsh shocks to the driveline, transom and in many cases occupants to which any of the above can cause a critical loss of control or even death. Our patented system allows the ultimate in control whether in the marina or at full power in your favorite poker run.  
  • If both paddles are pulled accidentally, the Paddle Commander will command idle to the engines overriding the throttle quadrant. Any paddle pull overrides the OEM throttle quadrant temporarily and assumes control. Releasing either or both paddles restores the quadrant command to the DME causing the preset engine speed to resume.
