The Science....

Experience Marine Power Like Never Before

Superior European Engineering

For over 40 years, European performance engines have defined the gold standard in quality, reliability, and innovation. At Palm Beach Offshore, our Mercedes-AMG 4.0 bi-turbo and Lamborghini 5.2L V10 conversions bring that heritage to your vessel—delivering breathtaking power curves, razor-sharp throttle response, and rock-solid dependability that GM-based marine engines simply can’t match and never have.

Why Choose AMG or Lamborghini Repowers Over GM Based Marine Engines? The choice is SIMPLE!

Unmatched Power-to-Weight Advantage

  • A GM-based 1,550 HP marine engine tipping the scales at 1,600 lbs yields about 0.97 HP per pound AND REQUIRES race fuel to obtain 1550HP!

  • Our Lamborghini V10 or AMG V8, weighing in at approximately 400 lbs, delivers up to 1,200 HP, for an astounding 3.00 HP per pound— realizing 3× the power-to-weight ratio. over the GM while running PUMP GAS!

What does this really mean on the water?

To match the acceleration and handling of our 1,200 HP, 400 lb engine, a heavy 1,600 lb GM motor would need over 4,000 HP to compete. That’s the real-world “feel” of cutting nearly half the boat’s transom weight without sacrificing an ounce of thrust....PER ENGINE!

Feel It in Every Turn and Straight-Away

  • Instant Responsiveness: Lighter rotating mass means throttle inputs translate into immediate RPM gains.
  • Sharper Handling: Less weight behind the helm improves trim, reduces porpoising, and enhances cornering grip.
  • Fuel Efficiency: Lower displacement and spinning lighter internals consume less fuel so you convert more of your 1,200 HP into forward motion rather than hauling dead weight.
  • Easier Installation: Slim, compact European engines free up engine bay space and simplify service access and REDUCE HEAT!

Lets face it, Lamborghini and AMG,, psychological thrillers in name alone, either marine conversion delivers more than horsepower - RELIABILITY, PERFORMANCE, and RACE HERITAGE.

The Choice Is Clear

GM-based marine engines may promise high peak numbers, but at a cost: bulk, complexity, and weight that sap your boat’s agility. Not to mention MOST require race fuel to make their advertised horsepower! Our Mercedes-Benz AMG and Lamborghini conversions deliver pure European performance—lighter, leaner, and engineered to race.

Lets Talk About Marine Engine Failures.

Lets face it, no one wants to think about engine failures. The time, the money, the hours of life from this catastrophe that you cannot ever get back. However, chances are as you are reading this now, you are shopping for a re-power option for your vessel due to a critically failed system.

The single most common cause of catastrophic gasoline marine engine failure is overheating due to a cooling-system fault, most often from a failed raw-water pump impeller or a blocked/raw-water intake. When seawater isn’t pumped through the engine’s heat exchanger, temperatures rise rapidly—warping heads, blowing head gaskets, and even seizing the engine. Boating Magazine Mercury Marine

Why it happens

  • Impeller wear or damage: The soft rubber impeller that draws seawater for cooling can tear or dry-rot if run out of the water even briefly. Once damaged, flow drops off sharply. Mercury Marine

  • Intake blockage: Seaweed, plastic debris, or barnacles can clog the raw-water strainer or intake through-hull, starving the pump of water. Boating Magazine

  • Corrosion and scale: In saltwater use, internal passages and heat-exchanger tubes can corrode or calcify, restricting flow.

With Palm Beach Offshores' Marine Engine Conversions, we eliminate this most critical threat!

Our Engines are closed loop cooled with large capacity high performance aluminum radiators utilizing quad (4) brushless, variable speed, ball bearing, high efficiency cooling fan units thus maintaining both redundant operation and regulating constant temperatures in each engine. We utilize the best state of the art titanium exhaust components which keeps your engine bay much cooler and safer. Regulating engine temperatures is a science in any engine, especially in high performance marine applications.  Proper and constant temperature control insures proper fuel mixture, manifold pressures, consistent performance and RELIABLE horsepower. You don't flush the actual engine assemblies after each use. Our engines are not ingesting saltwater or being exposed to saltwater corrosion or scale. Our systems are built to last. They are not intended or built to be worn out and replaced after a season or two with such heavy burdens of expense.

Avoid premature failures, avoid ending your boating season, avoid draining your coffers for costly repairs or overhauls.... but most of all, avoid the aggravation a GM freshwater cooled engine offers you. Talk to us today!
